DIGITAL v LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING

DIGITAL PRINTING
For short-run jobs this process is ideal. Initial set up is minimal and a job can be completed in a fraction of the time taken with conventional printing.

Although ‘special’ colours are not available, an acceptable match can always be achieved (excluding metallic or fluorescent colours).

This method ticks the right box if you want a quality print job at relatively inexpensive prices with a quick set up, speedy turnaround and the quantity your require.

LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING
This process is ideal when higher volumes of print are required. The initial set up is more costly and time consuming which makes the process expensive on short runs. However once the press is up and running there really aren’t much more costs involved when increasing the quantity required.

A benefit of lithographic printing is the ability to print special colours e.g. gold or silver, or if your company’s logo contains a specific Pantone© colour.

This method ticks the right box if you require a higher quantity, a special colour or simply require the ability to have a much higher quality print job on a wider range of papers (including textured stocks).
